New KSU Anthropology tab for Netvibes!!!
The new Netvibes tab for KSU Anthro majors is now available. New features include an AnthroClub calendar, AnthroClub news feed and comments feed, flickr pictures from Anthro majors (tagged “ksuanth”), and more! Just click below to get the new tab …
Here are some tips for using the tab:
1. I can’t control the order in which the modules appear. Move them anywhere you want. You might also want to edit the preferences in each of the modules to suit your tastes.
2. Select “edit” in the chat module and go to the KSU Anthropology chatroom by typing “KSU Anthropology” (without quotes) in the last box. This is important. Don’t even bother trying to follow the bizarre conversations going on in the main chat room.
3.Download the Diigo toolbar and start tagging your favorite anthropology sites ksuanth. You should see your links appear in the Diigo module on the page, available for other students to see.
4. Open a Flickr account and start tagging your pictures “ksuanth” and they will appear automatically on the Netvibes page for other Anthro majors to see!
5. Read “Getting Started with Web 2.0″ at the mediatedcultures.net blog and add your own tips in the comments section!
