We hope to re-energize the club this semester with plenty of social events for anthropology majors and club members to get to know eachother, the staff, and learn more about anthropology at KSU and across the world.

We had our first officers meeting last night and we will need to elect a temporary Vice President at our first meeting of the semester (mentioned later). Our currently elected Vice President will take back the position in the Spring for the fall we need someone to step up and take the challenge! Come to the first meeting if you are interested, and e-mail astueve@ksu.edu with your interest.

As for our first meeting, you can go visit the calendar page and see that we’ll be having a “Meet the Faculty” BBQ on Friday September 7th at Goodnow Park. This is open for any anthropology major, anyone interested in anthropology, club members, faculty, and so on. Please e-mail aflac@ksu.edu if you can bring something. Watch for an e-mail with directions to the location (it’s real easy) and a list of what we’ll be bringing!
