Anthro Club BBQ/Faculty Meet and Greet

Posted by Webmaster in general

Attention all anthropology majors and enthusiasts. Before the weather starts to change on us, we’re going to be having our annual Anthropology Club BBQ. Location will be at Goodnow Park, which is at the end of 4th street down near Bob’s Diner (I’m sure everyone knows where that is.)

We’ll be starting at 6pm on Friday September 7 and run until about 10pm. Admission is potluck, so bring your favorite dish (preferably something other people will want to eat as well), a beverage, or if you’re short on time and can’t prepare something, a simple 2$ donation will suffice. A small price to pay for an evening of free food and entertaining activities.

Also feel free to bring your own music, games and musical instruments. This is an excellent chance to meet other anthropology students and faculty and learn more about the anthropology curriculum.

The official BBQ will end around 10pm, but whose to say what will happen after that.

Please RSVP by Wednesday the 5th (mah9999@ksu.edu)if you will be attending. This way the committee can plan how much additional food we will need. People can still come after the RSVP deadline, but at least this way we’ll have a semi-accurate headcount.

P.S - Someone had better bring s’mores. This event is open to majors and non-majors alike. If anyone needs more detailed driving directions, just let me know.

Mark, Treasurer, mah9999@ksu.edu
