Attempt 2: Mystery Ethnographic Theater 3000

Posted by Webmaster in ritual

Let’s try this again!

In the deepest darkest recesses of the second floor vault in Waters Hall, a treasure lay in wait. These relics, buried under a shroud of dense arcane debris and a fine layer of forgotten past, have once again been resurrected and replenished to their former pristine state. Sapiens Symposium Schedule

Posted by Prof Wesch in general, ritual

We received a fantastic diversity of submissions and we are now happy to announce the schedule for the first annual Sapiens Symposium. The Symposium will take place in luxurious Waters 137. Participants should submit their papers to Professor Wesch (mwesch@ksu.edu) at least 2 days in advance of the symposium so they can be distributed to faculty and students who might like to comment. Each participant will have 15 minutes to present. After all participants in the session have presented there will be time for discussion led by a faculty member.

This will be a great opportunity for those hoping to submit a paper for the Ibn Battuta award as final submissions for that award will be due soon after the symposium. Comments from the symposium should give you just what you need to polish it up.

The schedule for this year’s Symposium is as follows: (more…)

Dim Sum Plans (From Kelly)

Posted by Webmaster in general, ritual

Hello once again! I am so glad for all the people who are planning on going on our small trip and are super excited about it. I know most of you are in for sure, but I was hoping that everyone who DEFINITELY wanted to go would hit me up one more time to confirm. BE SURE TO READ BELOW, AS THERE HAVE BEEN SOME CHANGES TO THE SCHEDULE!!!

If you have no idea what I am talking about you should also read below and if everyone could give me some sort of idea with a possible percentage on how likely it is you will attend (I know it is still ~2 weeks away), that would help me out a ton with reservations for dim sum along with planning for transportation and lodging.  I would also like to put out there that the schedule may seem kind of kray-z. We have some different groups doing different things, but we are confident it will all work out fantastic!!!
