Flintknapping and Lithic Technology Workshop Being Offered

The Kansas Anthropological Association (KAA) is offering a Flintknapping and Lithic Technology workshop February 17-18 , 8:00 am-5:00 pm in Lindsborg.  This workshop will involve review of rock types and how they are fashioned into different kinds of tools, hands-on experience with stone tools, basic analytical methods, and flintknapping demonstrations.  This is a rare opportunity to get intensive exposure to a key aspect of prehistoric archaeology and I encourage anyone interested in archaeology to attend.  (Further information available upon request.) Sapiens Symposium – Call for Undergraduate Papers!

The Sapiens Symposium is an event dedicated to a collaboration of student knowledge concerning issues of human experience and interaction. Through the exchange of wisdom, the Sapiens Symposium serves as a platform for like-minded individuals to present and discuss topics that each find important to their respective field of study.
