2nd Annual Sapiens Symposium

Update: *We’ve decided to push the abstract submission date back to March 7th to give people more time to think about participating. The conference date has also been finalized for March 25th. Look for the schedule – will be posted soon!* 

The Sapiens Symposium is an event dedicated to a collaboration of student knowledge concerning issues of human experience and interaction. Through the exchange of wisdom, the Sapiens Symposium serves as a platform for like-minded individuals to present and discuss topics that each find important to their respective field of study. It is in the hopes of its organizers that the Sapiens Symposium will cultivate an increased awareness of and tolerance for the many facets of the human condition in a global village.

Archaeological Field School Scholarship

Jane C. Waldbaum Archaeological Field School Scholarship

The Archaeological Institute of America is pleased to announce the Waldbaum Field School Scholarship for summer 2008. Established in honor of AIA Past President Jane Waldbaum, this scholarship provides $1000 each for up to five successful applicants to help pay expenses associated with participation on an archaeological excavation or survey project (minimum stay: one month).
