Open House This Saturday!

Posted by Webmaster in general

Open House is this Saturday from 9 – 2 in the Student Union and we are hoping to show visitors how wonderful our anthropology program is. You can help in 4 ways:

  1. Pictures!  If you have any pictures of yourself doing fantastic anthropological activities (traveling, researching, etc.), please bring them to my office or leave them in my box in Waters 204 so I can incorporate them into the display.
  2. Videos!  If you have created a video that you would like to show at Open House, please send me the file or the link so we can show it. We’ll have our video productions on a loop to display to visitors.
  3. Games!  If you have an idea for an anthropological game or activity, please let me know.
  4. Help!  Join us on Saturday.  It can be really fun.  There will be lots of kids and people genuinely interested in hearing more about what we do.  We will begin setup here in my office (Waters 206) at 8:15 am, carrying everything over to the Union at that time.  Events run to 2 pm and we will need some people to help taking it down and returning materials to Waters.  E-mail me if you would like to help, or just show up on Saturday.  All are welcome!

Thanks, and I hope to see some of you on Saturday!
