Update: September

of the Nekalimin people
I have implemented password protection on this website. To apply for a password,

This website is the result
of several experiments in form. Through several revisions I eventually arrived
at the current
organization of the site based on innovations in framing and layering that
I have developed in an effort to
harness the potentials of the digital environment without sacrificing solid
scholarly argument and analysis.
Though there are currently over 300 pages of information on this site, it
is not a true ethnography. The content pages
are examples only, meant to illustrate the potentials of the format. The full
ethnography utilizing this format
is a work in progress that I plan to release as a DVD-ROM sometime in the
next couple of years. I will
update the page as I develop new ideas for harnessing the potentials of the
digital environment.
To view another implementation
of the format, see my digital rendition
of Edmund Carpenter's classic Oh,
What a Blow That Phantom Gave Me!
